Daniela Bonafé, who has published nine books and received literary awards, works in poetry, short stories, and literature for children and young adults. With 13 chapters and 50 women portrayed, this experimental literary novel explores different text languages, such as poetry, chronicles, diaries, short stories, music and theater. Both the preface and the afterwords, written by Monique Bonomini, Amelinha Teles and Mell Renault, respectively, highlight the author's research and studies on the subject, as well as the care and seriousness employed in each of the texts that rescue the memory of these murdered women. The blurb is written by Júnia Paixão.

In addition to being a historical record, the work seeks to raise awareness among new generations, bringing reflections on struggle, resistance and the value of freedom.
