Lead Roses

Lead Roses is a hybrid literary novel that gives voice to women murdered by the Brazilian military dictatorship. Through fiction, the author imagines their dreams, desires, and struggles, reaffirming the importance of memory as a tool to prevent the repetition of past mistakes. With 13 chapters and 50 women portrayed, the work features short and varied texts, exploring different languages such as poetry, chronicle, diary, short story, music, and theater. The choice of the hybrid format allows each character to have a unique identity, contrasting with the dehumanization imposed by the regime. To purchase the book, buy it here: https://loja.tomaaiumpoema.com.br/rosas-de-chumbo-daniela-bonafe or at the Martins Fontes bookstores on Paulista Avenue and Na Nuvem in Bexiga. In the Cupula de la Flor

In the dome of the flower there is a poem that flirts with the prose and with the language from which the occupation of the house, spaces, words, types of sources, musicality and language amplifies the reading, there are other possibilities of feeling. It inhabits some subtleties of concrete poetry, but also of its antithesis present in poetry-praxis. Playing with the rhythms and silences, the poem is free of the lightness that the language allows because its content, which transgresses the form, betrays the power of the life of a woman crossed by feeling, by writing, by death, by motherhood, by rape, but above all, by her determination to exist.
