"Útero" was born from a collection of poems written over an eight-year period, during which the author became a mother four times. The poems sensitively address various aspects of motherhood: pregnancy, childbirth, miscarriage, neonatal loss, maternal grief, breastfeeding, postpartum, and childrearing, addressing themes such as obstetric violence and helplessness. It is richly illustrated with ink art created by the author herself.
It is a book that welcomes women, reclaims spaces, and raises the banner of respect for the diverse ways of experiencing motherhood, with the beauty that only poetry can bring to the world.
The book was published independently, in a beautiful campaign that donated part of the 250 copies to birth support centers and angel mother groups, psychology clinics and support groups for bereaved families.
The physical book is currently out of stock, but you can read it as an e-book on Amazon. To do so, simply visit the link: https://a.co/d/2oJUdsQ
